Co-founder of I-FAST
David Grove has been a Family Therapist, clinical supervisor, trainer of therapists and supervisors, teacher and author for over 30 years. After receiving his Master Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 1983, Mr. Grove spent ten years training and working with Jay Haley, one of the founders of family therapy. Mr. Grove has authored or co-authored four books on family therapy: “Conversations on Therapy” co-authored with Jay Haley, “Invisible Men” and “Integrative Family and Systems Treatment” the I-FAST manual and “Family therapy for treating Trauma”, co-authored with Mo Yee Lee and others. Mr. Grove has been a central figure in the development of I-FAST as well as organizing numerous programs and research projects regarding I-FAST. Mr. Grove has been the principal trainer for I-FAST for 12 different agencies in both the United States and Hong Kong. He is one of the co-founders to provide the accreditation of I-FAST supervisor.
