Sira was an ex- Senior Social Work Supervisor. She was awarded the master degree in University of Hong Kong on the topic “Marriage & Family Therapy”. She worked as a school social worker and family caseworker in her earlier years of profession.

 

She began to supervise an NGO Integrated Family Service Centre in Tin Shui Wai since 2004 until her retirement on 2019. During the period, Sira needed to handle a lot of correspondence, referral, social enquiry reports and recommendation, especially those for housing needs prepared by her colleagues.

 

She was impressed that many front-line staff lacked the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare a professional record.  Previously, she had provided around ten similar workshops for front-line social workers on the data collection and skills to prepare different kinds of records.
